WE ARE GLOBAL CITIZENS

Redefining community: no longer bound by heritage, geographical location or religion, but driven by individual freedoms and shared values.

The internet is a global network, providing myriad digital opportunities, to create global communities, defined by common goals, principles and interests. It matters not, whether such community members are from Berlin, Kamchatka or Buenos Aires. Prerequisites are only online access and a desire to connect. We communicate in real time, day or night, work together and are still able to connect whilst travelling. The world is our comfort zone: we live wherever, however and with whomever we choose.

02

RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR HOME

Planet Earth is our home, and as its custodians, atop the chain of its evolutionary creators, we have a duty of care. Since we are permitted to make use of and shape nature, we are thus obliged to also protect it (vehemently!) – from individual misconduct, national small-mindedness and commercial exploitation. Education, and, in turn, the awakening of a global consciousness, via communication, research, science and philosophy, form the basis from which to provoke discussion, action and abstinence from excessive consumption. Only then can we effect real change.

03

DEMANDS ON OURSELVES

As humans, we have bodies, minds, souls and our relationships. In as much as we bear responsibility for our home planet, we also have an obligation to ourselves and our fellow beings. So we train our bodies, educate our minds, centre our souls and invest in our relationships. Once we harmonise these elements, yet also push their boundaries, and remove what is harmful, then we are able to grow and flourish. Development, growth and selection are the tenets of nature; and therefore also ours.

04

A CONSTRUCTIVE CREATIVE VIEW ON THE WORLD

Reality is flexible, structured by the laws of nature, disposition and chance. Human will has the ability to engage and reprogram the world. From our own bodies to enormous ecosystems, we have the whole world in the palms of our hands.

Quantum physics, neurobiology, epigenetics and complexity science show that the world is by no means rigidly material. On the contrary, it is a cosmic, energetic network, floating in a sea of possibilities. We recognise this potential, and our responsibility towards it, pay no mind to the victim’s perspective, and instead take constructive action, in creating the future.

05

SMOOTHLY TO DEATH

Every single one of us is going to die – and that’s a wonderful thing. Death wipes the slate clean, freeing us from everything. We have nothing to lose, no need to cling to anything, and can, therefore, live productively, smoothly, joyfully… and then pass away.

Being frantically anxious and stifled is pure insanity; born of the non-acceptance of one’s own transience. Only those, who understand the assuredness of death, can overcome the fear of living – become truly free: live unencumbered and die laughing. Living with intention!

06

PHILOSOPHICAL PRAGMATIC COMPETENCE

Small-mindedness, greed and envy grow out of fear, weakness and the inability to take responsibility for one’s own fate. The more incompetent a person, the more dependent s/he is upon safety and systems – those which will cradle and stabilize. Whoever overcomes this dependency can escape, log off and live free of material possessions and unnecessary bureaucracy, wherever, however and until such time s/he chooses.

Philosophical, pragmatic competence empowers freedom. By this, we mean the art of fighting for a beautiful, strong and free life, thriving, before dying. This is the core of AMOR FATI.

07

FINANCIAL MATERIAL FREEDOM

Our standard of living is flexible, needing little. We are energetically rich, materially free and mentally self-sufficient. If we have little, we live frugally. If we have more, we live more comfortably.

If we need things or money, we work for them, playfully, by creating constructive value, which helps make the planet a better place. There is no clinging to material possessions, we remain free and fluid.

Our resources are energetic and alive. That which grows when used is valuable and important: our skills and relationships. That which erodes when used is null and void: mere tools, with no intrinsic value.

08

DECENTRALISED ORGANISATION

Every person worldwide can live according to these principles: can connect with like-minded people; can create autonomous cells; and can become locally or globally active. AMOR FATI has no head, no headquarters, only a global, supranational code of values – self-actualising, auto-structuring, and shaping the planet, the more people orient themselves towards it.

Synergy, emergence and evolution are the true masters. What is strong and healthy will prevail and overcome the three diseases, currently plaguing our planet:

  1. OVEREXPLOITATION OF NATURE
    Climate change, species extinction, waste
  2. RELIGIOUS TERROR
    Territorial conflicts, sectarian wars, abuse
  3. POPULISM
    Anxiety, isolation, misinformation

09

CYNIC SERENITY

Stable, strong spirits stand head and shoulders above all else, accepting their mortality and taking little too seriously. Such wisdom evokes serenity.

The ease of the ancient Cynic was characterized by a cheeky, radical, socio-critical approach – not caring for conventions, superficially mocking them and subliminally provoking thought. We recognise much of everyday life is mere theatre; problems are homemade. Tragedy emerges, when people, who will all die one day, torture each other. Clarity arises, only for those able to laugh their way through. Inner freedom and serenity await.

10

INDIVIDUALITY FOR ALL

Every human is unique: mentally, genetically, physically, historically and in character – each capable of making a unique contribution to this world.

The more one recognises and identifies their individuality and uses it for the benefit of the community, the more closely one lives as one’s true self, and more aligned to our values. This is our path to individual fulfilment and community development.
